Infortant Weather Information - Inflatable hire
There are possible wind gusts of over 24mph on your booking date - these are possible gusts gaining up to 39mph.
We have seen forecasts in the past where gusts have been predicted but not appeared in many parts of the city. This can make the decision to go ahead or not with the inflatable hire very difficult. to make. We want to ensure that we do not cancel any hire unnecessarly and on the other hand make sure every single person who uses an inflatable is doing so safely.
Saturday forecast:
Max average wind speeds of 22mph
Max average wind gusts of 42mph
We therefor would like to offer the following:
Option 1: Immediate cancellation of hire and....
- Re-arrange your hire to another date with 100% credit
or
- Receive 75% of your hire costs back in refund
or
- If you took out the cancellation protection, You'll receive 100% of the hire cost back as refund
Option 2: Go ahead with the scheduled hire and hope the weather changes...
A risk assessment would be carried out on site where our staff would assess the weather conditions in your area at that time, assess how exposed the site is and the condition of the surface in which we will be securing the inflatable to.
The result of this risk assessment will be either:
- The area is safe to set the equipment up for you and leave you with a wind speed meter (anemometer) for you to be able to measure wind speeds throughout your hire and you must remove children and deflate the inflatable at winds peeds exeeding 24mph as per your terms and conditions.
or
- The area is unsafe to set up and the hire should not go ahead. If this is the case, you will have the following options:
1) Reschedule your order to a future date within 12 months and keep 75% credit on the order.
2) Have 50% of the total hire amount refunded back to you.
